私たちが御父（天のパパ）の愛の中でしっかりと休息を得ているなら、どんな誘惑や試練も私たちを打ち負かすことはできないのです。
イエスが悪魔から誘惑を受けた時、ご自分が神の御子であることを悪魔に頑張って立証や証明したりしませんでした。イエスはご自分が、神の愛する御子であるアイデンティティにしっかりとした確信がありました。
この誘惑を受けるちょっと前に、ヨルダン川で御父が語ったばかりのことが、「これこそ、わたしの愛する子。わたしは彼を心から喜んでいる。」"
この言葉を個人的に自分のものにして、毎日思い巡らしながら口から発してみてください。御父が私たちを見るように、自分自身を見ますように。キリストにあって、私たちは尊く、愛されている者で、私たちのことを心から喜んでいるのです。
「あなたはわたしの愛する子。わたしはあなたを心から喜んでいる。」
私たちの心に語りかけてくる御声を聞きたいものです。
Jesus loves you so much.
No temptation can triumph over us when we rest securely in our Father's love.
When Jesus was tempted by the devil, He didn't have to prove to the devil that He was the Son of God. Jesus was secure in His identity as God's beloved Son.
Just before this temptation, the Father just said at the Jordan River, "this is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased."
Personalize this and meditate on it every day! Start to see ourselves the way how the Father sees us. In Christ we are His precious, beloved children, in whom He is well pleased.
"You are My beloved child, in whom I am well please."
Let us hear His voice speaking to our hearts.
