人のすべての考えにまさる神の平安が、あなたがたの心と思いをキリスト・イエスにあって守ってくれます。
恐れで圧倒されそうな状況のただ中にあって、神さまの平安を体験できることを分かち合わせてください。
平安は私たちの人生に問題がない状態のことではありません。騒がしいことやチャレンジがないことでもありません。. 人生で最強な危機のただ中にあってでも、平安を体験することは可能なのです。それこそが、本物の平安で、人のすべての考えにまさるイエスの平安です。そして、これを体験することができるのです。
でも、一般に人々は、何が起こっているかに基づいて平安を定義づけます。たとえば、静かに流れる音楽と、ココナッツの木々が浜辺に沿って打ち付ける青い波との完璧な調和の中で、 白い砂浜にハンモックに横たわっている人。こんな感じを平安と言うでしょう
私がオーストラリアのパースに在住していた時、お土産屋さんでアルバイトをしていました。そのお土産屋さんは宝石も扱っていました。ある日ゴールドのダイヤが入ったペンダントの値段を間違えて売ってしまいました。値札を見損ねたゆえに、売値よりはるかに安い値段で売ってしまったのでした。私の心は恐れと心配で膨れ上がるほどに荒れ果てた状態でした。悲しくて涙を流しながら働いていた時、突然として、イエスさまの美しさを歌ったワーシップの歌が私の唇から出てきたのです。そして、私の心は喜びと平安に変えられたのでした。涙は流れつづけましたが、悲しみの涙ではなくて、喜びと平安の涙になっていたのでした。数分後 、同僚からの電話で、「そのペンダントを購入した客は、ペンダントの返却を快く受け入れてくれ、万事大丈夫！」
イエスだけが、私たちが内にあることを感じ取ることができるし、その騒がしさをイエスの平安に変えることができるのです。私たちのそばにイエスはいてくれて、私たちの内にとどまる平安とで、私たちの外側の状況に影響を与えることができるのです。 その逆ではありません。イエスにある変革トランスフォーメーションはいつも内から外であって、外から内ではありません。イエスが私たちの心に平安と安息を与えることができるのです。それは、とても安定し安心なものなので、どんなネガティブな状況や環境に関わらす、不安やストレスなしでどんなチャレンジに直面できるのです。

The peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Let me share about experiencing God's kind of peace in the midst of fearful circumstances.
Peace is not the absence of trouble in our lives. It is not the absence of turmoil or challenges. It is possible to be in the midst of the biggest crisis in our lives and still experience peace. That's the true kind of peace that we can experience with Jesus-peace that surpassed understanding.
However the world defines peace based on what is happening. It is something like this: A man lying in a hammock on a white sandy beach with music playing softly, coconut trees swaying in perfect unison and blue waves rolling along the shoreline.
When I was in Perth Australia, I was doing a part-time job in a souvenir shop, which was dealing with jewelries as well. One day I made a big mistake of charging a golden nugget pendant. I sold it much cheaper, failing to see the price tag. I was so devastated that my heart was full of fear and anxiety. While working in tears of sadness, out of sudden a worship song about beauty of Jesus came out of my lips, and turned my heart into joy and peace. The tears continued flowing, but no longer out of sadness but out of joy and peace. After a few minutes later I got a call from my co-worker telling me that the customer who had bought the pendant was willing to give it back. Everything was OK.
Only Jesus can touch what we are feeling inside and turn that turmoil into His peace. With the Lord by our side, and abiding peace within, we can influence our external surroundings. It's not the other way round. With Jesus, transformation is always from inside out and not outside in. Jesus can put peace and rest in our hearts that is so secure, we can face any challenge without worry or stress, regardless of our negative circumstances and environment.
