「本当の自分をあからさまに出したら、誰も私と関わってくれないんじゃないか！」
そんな思いが横切りませんか？過去あるいは現在、とっても口に出せないような恥を抱えていたり、できる限りがんばって隠し通そうとする醜い部分があったり・・・・
ありのままの自分をさらけ出すのは、危険と思うのが、私たちではありませんか？でも完全に自分のありのままをさらけ出せる方がいるのです。醜さ、弱さ、自己中心さもすべてです。私たちの醜さにびっくり仰天し、腰を抜かれる方ではありません。
主は、私たちがどういう者か、完璧にご存じだからです。それであっても、無条件に愛し受け入れてくださるのです。
ヨハネ４章に出てくるサマリヤの女性に対してと同じように、私たちに接してくださいます。過去に５人の男性と結婚し、離婚し、不倫のただ中にいた女性です。不道徳な過去のゆえに、誰からも愛されない恐れの中で彼女は生活していました。
主イエスは、彼女を受け入れ愛しました。
「この方は自分の醜さもすべてをご存じで、それでもなおかつ受け入れ愛してくださっている。」イエスの無条件の愛が、この打ちひしがれた女性の心に入っていったのです。この愛は、彼女の過去の恥の荷を下ろさせ、それまではできる限り避けていた人たちのところへ彼女は伝道者として入っていったのです。
過去の失敗や暗さによって、恥や孤独の牢獄に閉じ込められることがありませんように。
主イエスは言われます。「わたしはあなたの最悪な時にもあなたを愛している。そして、あなたが最高な人生を生きるためのあなたの力にも十分になれる。」
私たちが自分自身の暗闇を主の明るさにさらけ出すとき、暗闇の力はうすれます。私たちはもうすでに、神さまに十分知られていて、十分すぎるほどに愛されているのです。
「光はやみの中に輝いている。やみはこれに打ち勝たなかった。」（ヨハネ１：５）
Jesus loves you so much.
"Nobody would have anything to do with me if they knew the real me."
Has this thought crossed your mind?" There might be parts of your past or present that you are very ashamed of. There might be your ugly parts that you try your best to hide.
We think it is dangerous to open up ourselves, don't we? But there is One whom we can be completely ourselves to, including all our ugliness, weakness, selfishness. He will not be surprised at our ugliness.
The Lord already knows exactly what we are like. And He accepts us and loves us unconditionally.
The Lord treats us in the same way as He treated the Samaritan woman in John 4. She had had five husbands, and was living with a man who wasn't her husband. She was living with fear of no one loving her because of her dirty life.
The Lord Jesus accepted her and loved her.
"He knows all about my ugliness, and still accepts me and loves me." Jesus' unconditional love entered into her broken heart. His love let her put down the shame of her past, and evangelized to the ones she had avoided the best.
Do not let the dark part of our lives lock us in the prison of shame and loneliness!
The Lord says to us,
"I love you at your worst, and I will also be strength to live your best."
When we expose our darkness to His light, our darkness will fade away. we are already fully known, and fully loved by God.
"The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it."（John１：５）
